US officer sentenced to 2 years for Daunte Wright killing

The former US police officer who accidentally killed African American
Daunte Wright, after she drew her firearm believing it to be her
taser, has been sentenced to 2 years in jail.

Injuries and power cuts as Storm Eunice batters UK


In the UK, Storm Eunice has left multiple people injured and about 200,000 homes without electricity.

There's also been the highest gust of wind ever recorded in England, clocking in at 122 miles per hour.

Truck convoy leaders arrested

Canadian police have arrested two leaders of a protest movement that

Hawaii bucks trend as only US state not to announce plans to relax mask mandates

Six African countries to receive mRNA technology

A group of European and African leaders have announced that six African countries are to be the first recipients of technology needed to manufacture mRNA COVID-19 vaccines on the continent. RUSSIA NUCLEAR DRILLS PLANNED FOR WEEKEND

The Kremlin has denied holding nuclear drills at the weekend will further inflame tensions with the West.

Stocks fall in US amid Russia-Ukraine tensions
