US warns Russia over Ukraine "aggression"

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has warned Russia against
"renewed aggression" towards Ukraine, over fears Moscow is massing
troops on the border.

Blinken has been meeting NATO countries in Latvia to discuss Russia's
possible motives.

EasyJet sees "weakening" in bookings amid Omicron concerns

NEW COVID RULES IN FORCE IN UK

New measures on masks and travel have come into force in the UK to try and slow the spread of the Omicron coronavirus variant.

Sudan Ethiopia Conflict

South African President visits Nigeria and other West African nations


South Africa's president Cyril Ramaphosa is expected to visit his counterpart Nigeria's president Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday.

It will be the first official visit of president Ramaphosa in his capacity as president. He earlier visited Nigeria in 2018 as acting president.
