South Africa's president Cyril Ramaphosa is expected to visit his counterpart Nigeria's president Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday.
It will be the first official visit of president Ramaphosa in his capacity as president. He earlier visited Nigeria in 2018 as acting president.
He will be arriving in the company of top government officials of his administration, on a week-long visit to Nigeria, Ghana, Côte d'Ivoire and Senegal to tackle the pandemic and deepen bilateral relationships with the West African nations.
