UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson will set out details later of how England will move out remaining lockdown measures on 19th July.

He's expected to announce that face masks will no longer be compulsory in indoor locations.

And almost all restrictions on the English economy look set to be removed on 19th July.

The opposition Labour Party says because of rising cases, the government risks allowing a dangerous new covid-19 variant to emerge.

Russia reserves 'champagne' title for domestic bubbly

Chinese netizens call for boycott of Hong Kong beverage company Vitasoy

Merkel visits UK for 22nd and final time as Chancellor

Angela Merkel has raised the prospect of fully vaccinated Britons visiting Germany after holding talks with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.


On her final visit to the UK as German Chancellor, she declined to immediately lift controls, but said restrictions may be eased in the "foreseeable future" for those who have had both doses of a Covid jab.

Five More Men Arrested for the Shooting of Uganda Transport Minister

Hong Kong police condemn stabbing of officer
