Zydus Cadila applies for emergency use nod for its COVID-19 vaccine in India

Sydney covid lockdown failing

Australia's biggest city Sydney has recorded 24 new cases of community transmission of the coronavirus overnight, as lockdowns spread across the country's states and territories.

Reports: Manhattan Grand Jury Indicts Trump Organisation and Top Executive

A Manhattan Grand Jury has indicted former US President Donald Trump's organsation and its chief Financial Officer according to multiple US media reports.

The charges against Allen Weisselberg and the company have come from District Attorney Cyrus Vance's two-year investigation into Mr Trump's business affairs.

UK AND EU EXTEND GRACE PERIOD ON NORTHERN IRELAND TRADE

The UK and EU are extending a grace period on changes to trading rules between Britain and Northern Ireland, in a last-minute concession by the EU.

The changes would have created greater disparity between Northern Ireland and the rest of the UK, across the Irish Sea, which the UK felt was unacceptable.
