UN: America's economic rebound will make it world's top foreign investment destination

America’s post-pandemic economy recovery is likely to make it the world’s top destination for foreign investment- that’s according to the latest global projections from the UN.

Consumer spending, and the Biden administration’s multi-trillion dollar infrastructure plans will see a rebound, amid bullish predictions which some say are overly optimistic.

Wales worried over 3rd Covid-19 wave as Delta variant spreads

Cases of the Delta coronavirus variant are on the rise in Wales.


Around 600 of the country's citizens have been infected by the strain first discovered in India.


The number of cases is causing concern, and experts are unsure whether the increase could result in an increased number of hospitalisations.


There have been 12 hospitalisations because of the strain so far, but  Wales' Deputy Chief Medical Advisor, Dr Chris Jones, says more cases are highly likely.

14 Killed as gunmen attack police station in Benue state, Nigeria


Nigerian police say 14 criminals have been killed after an attempted siege on a police station in Benue state, north central Nigeria on Sunday.

There's been growing attacks on security formations in some parts of the country in recent months and the government has promised to restore peace and calm to the regions.

India launches centralised vaccination drive after criticism over shortages

Six months since it started inoculating citizens, the drive in a country that manufactures more vaccines than any other has been plagued by shortages.
