AstraZeneca claims EU loss in court case over vaccine deliveries

AstraZeneca says the European Union has lost a legal case against the pharmaceutical firm over Covid-19 vaccine deliveries. 

A court in Belgium has rejected a request for additional doses by the end of June. 

However the EU said the court agreed AstraZeneca had committed a "serious breach" of its contract.

EU adds US to its travel safe list

The European Union has added the United States to its safe travel list, meaning it will be easier for American citizens to take a holiday in Europe. 

Non-essential travel from third countries had been banned in the EU since the outbreak of the pandemic last March.

Two Apple Daily executives face Hong Kong security law charges

Australians reassured after vaccination advice changed

France ends Covid-19 obligation to wear face mask outside in public

June 17/today/Thursday marks the first day in France that people do not need to wear a face mask outside in public.

The move was confirmed by the prime minister yesterday and comes as the government also announced that the end of the nationwide curfew would be brought forward by ten days.
