Biden signs national holiday to mark end of slavery

The date which marks the end of slavery in the United States has been
made a national holiday after President Joe Biden signed it into law.

Juneteenth National Independence Day, celebrated on June 19th, will
become the 12th legal public holiday in the U.S.
