Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan holds talks with Kenyan President's Special Envoy


Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan has held talks with a Special Envoy of the Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta, Dr. Amina Mohammed, at the State House in Dar es Salaam.

The meeting comes on the back of frosty relations between the two nations over the last five years.

Amazon Workers Reject Employee Union in Historic Vote

Workers at an Amazon warehouse in the US state of Alabama have chosen NOT to join a union in a closely-watched election.


The results are a victory for the internet retail giant, which ran an extensive campaign to derail the effort.

Calls for action in Myanmar at UN Security Council

Bells toll, crowds gather across the UK in memory of Prince Philip

Bells are tolling all over the UK following the announcement by Buckingham Palace that Prince Philip, husband of the Queen has died at the age of 99.


Just  three weeks ago the Duke of Edinburgh returned to Windsor Castle from a month-long stay in hospital where he underwent treatment for a heart ailment.


Police are urging people not to gather in large crowds due to Covid-19 restrictions, but these people laid flowers at the Castle where the Duke died.

Buckingham Palace has announced that the Duke of Edinburgh, husband of Britain's Queen Elizabeth II, has died.

He was 99, and had been the Queen's constant companion for the last 73 years.  

In March he spent a month in hospital being treated for a heart ailment, before returning to Windsor Castle. .

Prince Philip didn't hesitate to speak his mind on the great affairs of state.

In February 1967, as Britain faced an economic downturn, he called on the country to rally round.
