Former US President Donald Trump has suffered a serious defeat in his
attempt to protect his tax records.

state prosecutor.

Boeing recommends grounding 777-model after engine failure

US plane maker Boeing has suspended operations of its 777 plane and

EU set to green-light fresh sanctions on Russia over Navalny jailing

The EU is expected to green-light fresh sanctions on Russia over the imprisonment of Alexei Navalny, as foreign ministers from the 27-nation bloc meet in Brussels for talks. 

Ministers will also consider penalties against Myanmar officials over the recent coup, and discuss efforts to salvage the Iran nuclear deal.

RUSSIAN LAWMAKERS TO MAKE INSULTING VETERANS CRIMINAL OFFENCE

Senior Russian lawmakers have proposed amending the law to make insulting WWII veterans a criminal offence.

According to the Vice Speaker of the lower house, Irina Yarovaya, the law should punish those who "humiliate the honour and dignity" of front-line soldiers.

It comes after Russian opposition figure Alexei Navalny was fined eleven and a half thousand dollars for slandering a veteran, a charge he denies, and believes was politically motivated.

Seven dead, black box, items recovered as military jet crash in Abuja

Biden signals US's return to global stage at meeting of European Leaders

US President Joe Biden has called for a restoration of the transatlantic partnership in his first major international speech since taking office.

He spoke at the Munich Security Conference, after attending a virtual gathering of the G7 leaders, sending the message that "America is back" after four years of isolationism under Donald Trump.
