The British government is "carefully considering next steps" after the European Union decided to override the Brexit deal to prevent vaccine exports to Northern Ireland.
Under the deal, signed last year, all products exported from the EU to Northern Ireland should not have to face customs checks.
But the bloc has invoked Article 16 of the Northern Ireland Protocol -- allowing parts of that deal to be unilaterally overruled -- to ensure it's not being used as a back door to funnel Covid vaccines into the rest of the UK.
