France rules out lockdown for now but tightens travel restrictions

The French government has ruled out another coronavirus lockdown for now but imposed even tighter restrictions to go with the continuing nationwide 6pm-6am curfew.

France's borders will be closed with non-EU countries except for essential travel and anyone coming into France from any country - including EU neighbours - must have proof of a negative PCR test.

Ross Cullen reports from Paris.
