Universities in Uganda to Remain Closed Due to Surging COVID-19 Cases
Universities and Colleges in Uganda will remain closed for the next three months as the government finds solutions to the COVID-91 pandemic.
The decision comes as Uganda grapples with high COVID-19 cases and deaths.
Schools in Uganda shut in March 2020 to slow the spread of the coronavirus.

Australia – Malka Leifer faces court after extradition from Israel
Fugitive school principal Malka Leifer (pron.Lyfa) has been remanded in custody, after facing court for the first time for the alleged sexual abuse of three sisters almost 20 years ago.
Leifer fled Australia for Israel in 2008, with Australian authorities first seeking her extradition in 2014.
