UK CONSIDERS PAYMENTS FOR ISOLATION

The UK government is considering a £500 payment to anyone who tests positive for covid-19 in England, to encourage higher levels of testing and greater compliance with isolation.

Tokyo Olympics organizers deny cancellation report

Biden says Covid deaths will surpass 500 thousand

US President Joe Biden has said the number of deaths due to Covid-19 will likely pass 500 thousand next month.


In his first full day in office Mr Biden launched what he called a "wartime effort" against the pandemic, but admitted it would take some time to get Americans innoculated.
