US Secretary of State visits Jewish settlement in West Bank

The US Secretary of State has become the country's first top official
to visit a Jewish settlement in the Israeli-occupied West Bank.

The trip has angered Palestinians.

Many Killed in Uganda Protests

Intro;

Several people are feared dead in Uganda and many are reported injured as protests erupt in parts of the country.

 

The riots were in reaction to the arrest of a popular musician turned politician Robert Kyagulanyi, commonly known as Bobi Wine.

UK PM announces biggest boost to military spending in 30 years

Boris Johnson has pledged to end what he calls Britain's "era of retreat" by announcing a $22bn increase in defense spending — the UK's largest military investment since the end of the Cold War.

UK IN BIGGEST DEFENCE SPEND SINCE COLD WAR
