All schools in Tanzania will reopen as of June 29 after three months of closure due to the novel coronavirus, local media reported quoting the country's president.

Trump signs executive order on police reform; rejects defunding

COVID-19 deaths in U.S. nursing homes pass 50,000


More than 50,000 people in nursing homes and long-term care facilities in the U.S. have now died with COVID-19.

Coronavirus-related deaths in prisons have also been rising rapidly in the last month.

Germany hasn't received any "detailed information" about US troop withdrawal plan

German foreign minister Heiko Maas says he hasn't received any detailed information yet about US president Donald Trump's plan to withdraw around ninety five hundred American troops stationed in Germany.

Trump has suggested the plan is a response to Berlin not meeting its NATO defense spending commitments.

Pressure mounts on UK government following footballer's school meals campaign

Premier League footballer Marcus Rashford has renewed his calls for a school meal voucher scheme to be extended. The Manchester Utd and England forward says the government should consider the plight of struggling parents and children who wake up to empty shelves.

Investigation underway after missing Black Lives Matter activist is found dead

Oluwatoyin Salau, a 19 year old Black Lives Matter activist, has been found dead in Tallahassee Florida, after she went missing earlier this month.

Her death, and that of another woman whose body was found in the same area, are being treated as homicides.
