US COVID-19 death toll climbs to second-highest globally
behind Italy.
The latest figures show almost 17,000 people have died - surpassing
Spain's fatalities - while the US has more than 460,000 confirmed
cases.

The Democratic Republic of Congo has registered 215 cases of confirmed Coronavirus cases and 20 deaths since the outbreak first reached the country on March 10. Uganda Arrests Officials Over COVID-19 Relief Fraud
Uganda has arrested four top government officials following reports they inflated COVID-19 relief food prices.
The officials who work in the office of Prime Minister, have been running a program to provide food relief for vulnerable people amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Police say the suspects caused a financial loss to Government in excess of US. $500,000.

Major oil exporters agree production cuts
Saudi Arabia, Russia and other major oil exporters have tentatively agreed a deal to cut oil production to try to boost prices. The industry has been shaken by an unprecedented slump in demand because of coronavirus lockdowns around the world. Moscow Correspondent Lucy Taylor reports.

UK PM LEAVES INTENSIVE CARE
UK prime minister, Boris Johnson, has left intensive care and has returned to his hospital ward.
He remains under close observation at St Thomas' hospital in London.
But in a statement, Downing Street said he's "in extremely good spirits".
It comes as the UK government announced 881 deaths, bringing the total to 8000.
