UK SCHOOLS CLOSE - EXAMS CANCELLED

In the UK, school's out for the foreseeable future, to try to slow down the spread of coronavirus and reduce pressure on dwindling staff numbers.


The UK's Chief Medical Officer says the move will make little difference to the chance of children being infected, but should reduce strain on the health service.

Merkel ally says Saturday key to decide on lockdown

The head of German chancellor Angela Merkel's office says Saturday will be a 'decisive' day to determine whether lockdowns are necessary to contain the spread of coronavirus in the country.

New daily Covid-19 cases in S. Korea again fall below 100

India has executed four men convicted of raping and murdering a 23-year old medical student on a moving bus in 2012.

California Projects More Than Half Its Residents Will Get Virus

California is asking the US Congress for one billion dollars in federal funds to support the state's medical response to COVID-19.

COVID-19: Nigerian airline suspends flights to outside Nigeria
