Protests greet Jeff Bezos in India

Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos is in India where he's expected to hold meetings with various government officials and possibly also the Indian Prime Minister.

Thousands of small traders are holding protests against Amazon accusing the company of indulging in unfair practices that have put local shops out of business.

US Democrats in final debate for state voting begins

In the US, the top tier Democrat candidates have fought over foriegn
policy and climate change in the final debate before states begin to
vote on who should take on President Donald Trump in November's
election.

It was billed as a make-or-break two hour televised debate, but the
six candidates played it safe, careful not to antagonize potential
future running-mates or alienate voters.

CHINA: TRADE DEAL WON’T AFFECT IMPORT VOLUMES FROM OTHER COUNTRIES

U.S. President Trump Plans to Divert Billions in Border Wall Funding

The White House is reportedly planning to divert about $7.2 billion in additional Pentagon funding… towards building a wall along the US-Mexico border.  The funds are reportedly five times what Congress has authorized.

BORIS JOHNSON: HUAWEI CRITICS MUST GIVE "ALTERNATIVES"

Boris Johnson has insisted that he would not risk Britain's security when upgrading the nation's 5G network.

House Vote on Wednesday to send impeachment articles to Senate

Nancy Pelosi says the House will vote on Wednesday to send the articles of impeachment to the Senate and kick start President Trump's long-awaited trial this week.

 

The House Speaker talked to colleagues in a closed door meeting at the Capitol and also said there would be a vote on a resolution to appoint impeachment managers.

African Union to hold meeting on Libya

Chinese trade delegation arrive in Washington ahead of trade deal signing
