European powers have triggered a mediation process within the nuclear deal with Iran, after the country took a further step back from its commitments to restrict its nuclear programme.
In a joint statement, the foreign ministers of Britain, France and Germany said they had no choice but to take action, after Tehran voted to discard more restrictions imposed by 2015 accord.
