AUSTRALIA: Prime Minister Scott Morrison in London for D-Day Comemmorations

Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison has arrived in the UK, flying into the eye of a political storm in his first visit to London as prime minister.
Mr Morrison's maiden voyage to the United Kingdom is being somewhat overshadowed by the presence of US President Donald Trump which has sparked a mass rally and other protests.

AUSTRALIA: Rare Earth miner looking to renew operating lice3nce in Malaysia

Australian and Malaysian government officials will meet in the West Australian capital Perth on June 20 in part to discuss Lynas Corporations rare earth waste storage facility.
The meeting has been confirmed by a state mining spokeswoman confirmed and the plan for Lynas Corp's controversial rare earths waste storage in the country is likely to be at the top of the agenda.

President Trump plans to end India's preferential trade status

US president Donald Trump plans to end its preferential trade status granted to India from 5th June.

India is the largest beneficiary of the programme, with more than 5 billion US dollars of imports into the US given duty-free status in 2017.

UN chief condemns Sudan military deadly attack on protests

least 13 pro-democracy protesters have been killed by Sudan's security
forces.

US Sephora stores to close for diversity training after racial profiling accusation

The beauty retailer Sephora is to close all its US stores on June 5 for diversity training after the singer SZA accused one outlet of racially profiling her.
