Violent video games not linked to teen aggression

Playing violent video games has no link to teenage aggression.
That's according to new research by the UK's University of Oxford.
They surveyed more than a thousand British teenagers and their parents as part of the study.

UK Government Downplaying Overheard Comments Allegedly Suggesting Brexit Delay

The UK Government is trying to downplay comments overheard in a Brussels bar by a journalist, made by chief Brexit negotiator, Olly Robbins.


Mr Robbins is alleged to have said the government would wait until the final weeks before the country was due to exit the European Union to present a revised Brexit Deal. And that MPs would be told if they didn't vote for it, Brexit could be postponed for a significant length of time.

Yellow vest boxer to appear in court

A former French boxer accused of violently attacking police officers during a yellow protest is due in court. 

Christophe Dettinger (Pron: Dett-on-jay") became a yellow vest symbol after a video of him punching police went viral.

Strike Halts Air Traffic in Belgium

Flights to and from Belgium have been canceled on Wednesday because of a union strike.


Because of uncertainty over how many air traffic control agents would show up to work, it was decided to not allow any planes to take off or land.

UK 'PLANS TO OFFER MPs LATE BREXIT VOTE - OR LONG DELAY'

The UK's chief Brexit negotiator's been overheard setting out parts of the government's strategy to force a deal through.

Olly Robbins was heard suggesting British MPs will be offered a vote on a deal just days before Brexit is due to take place in March.

And that lawmakers will be told the alternative is a 'long delay' to the Brexit process.

It comes as Prime Minister Theresa May continues to try and win changes to the controversial Irish backstop in the Brexit divorce deal.

Seoul denies it will pay more for U.S. troops after Trump comments


South Korea is denying suggestions it will pay more to keep U.S. troops stationed on the Korean Peninsula. President Trump told officials in Washington Seoul would be doubling its share under a new agreement.

Seoul says there's no chance of an imminent increase.

For decades, South Korea has paid the U.S. to share the cost for troops stationed here.

And on Sunday, after months of tense negotiations, Seoul agreed to pay 890 millions dollars for one year.

But Trump told his Cabinet the total would double from 500 million dollars.

Trump also said Seoul would continue to pay more each year.

Trump has previously called allies receiving U.S. military support freeloaders.

Trump Warming to Shutdown Deal

President Donald Trump is signaling that he may now accept a deal reached by lawmakers to avoid another government shutdown.

Mexican drug lord Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman found guilty on all ten counts after US trial


A US court has found Mexican drug lord Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman guilty on all ten counts after his high profile trial in New York.

The charges included distribution of cocaine and heroin, money laundering and multiple other offences.

Venezuelans Take to the Streets

Massive numbers of Venezuelans have taken to the streets to show their support for opposition leader Juan Guaido. 

And government supporters are  rallying behind President Nicolas Maduro — who has said he will not allow humanitarian aid into Venezuela….He says that aid is simply a way for the United States to justify intervention in Venezuela's affairs.

Brexit: Meaningful vote for UK MPs after more talks with EU

The UK Labour Leader has accused the Prime Minister of "playing chicken with people's livelihoods" and running down the clock on a Brexit deal. 


Jeremy Corbyn's comments came after Theresa May addressed parliament on the ongoing negotiations with the EU, ahead of a debate on Thursday on the next steps for Brexit.


Mrs May argued that she had wanted to get a deal done by Christmas, and said it was now time for MPs to 'hold their nerve'.

Uganda Investigates Suspected Ebola Death

UK PM accused of running down the clock as she outlines next stages of Brexit

UK Prime Minister Theresa May has urged MPs to 'hold their nerve' as the government undertakes further discussions with the European Union.


The British Government says it is attempting to get a Brexit deal that the British Parliament is likely to vote through.


But in laying out the next steps of the Brexit process, Prime Minister has been accused of running down the clock - implying that she is trying to make MPs vote for a deal they are not happy with, in order to avoid a no-deal Brexit
