UK 'PLANS TO OFFER MPs LATE BREXIT VOTE - OR LONG DELAY'

The UK's chief Brexit negotiator's been overheard setting out parts of the government's strategy to force a deal through.

Olly Robbins was heard suggesting British MPs will be offered a vote on a deal just days before Brexit is due to take place in March.

And that lawmakers will be told the alternative is a 'long delay' to the Brexit process.

It comes as Prime Minister Theresa May continues to try and win changes to the controversial Irish backstop in the Brexit divorce deal.

Politico's Tom McTague says Mrs May has to tell different people, different things.
