MAY: MPs SHOULD 'HOLD NERVE' AS BREXIT TALKS CONTINUE

UK Prime Minister Theresa May says it's time for British MPs to 'hold their nerve' over Brexit.

She's addressed the House of Commons on negotiations with the EU.

Mrs May is trying to secure changes to the controversial Irish border backstop in the Brexit deal she agreed with Brussels.

The EU says it won't re-open negotiations on the Withdrawal Agreement, but Mrs May says talks with European leaders will continue this week.

UK correspondent Olly Barratt says Mrs May's been promising to uphold workers' rights in an attempt to placate opposition MPs.
