BA APOLOGISES OVER DATA BREACH

British Airways has apologised after a breach of its security systems compromised details of customers from around 380 000 transactions.

The airline says personal and financial details were taken - but not travel or passport information.

BA says the breach between 21st August and 5th September was a 'sophisticated, malicious criminal attack' on its website.

North Korean Charged with Cyberattacks

The US justice department has charged a North Korean man for cyberattacks against the UK's National Health Service and against Sony Corporation.

UK and Russia trade barbs at UN Security Council

The United Kingdom and Russia have traded barbs at the United Nations
Security Council.

The Council met after London identified two suspects in the attack on
a former Russian spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter.

Prime Minister Theresa May told lawmakers on Wednesday that the two
men entered the country on Russian passports and are suspected of

Top Trump officials fall over one another to deny authoring "anonymous" article

Vice President Mike Pence and several of President Trump's top lieutenants are denying they wrote the anonymous piece published by the New York Times in which its claimed members of President Trump's Cabinet have discussed trying to oust him from power.

China accuses the UK of "provocative actions" in South China Sea

China has accused the UK of "provocative actions", after a British warship sailed close to disputed islands in the South China Sea.

India's Supreme Court moves to decriminalize homosexuality


In a landmark judgement by India's top court, homosexuality has been decriminalised in India. 


The Supreme Court ruled that the LGBT community in India should have the same rights as everyone else in the country.


Chef Keshar Sharma left India 21 years ago because his family said they would kill him due to his homosexuality. He was granted refugee status in France a few years ago.   He says he was sexually assaulted many times for being gay. 


Keshar Sharma says while gay sex may no longer be illegal, Indian people's mentality to same sex relationships will not.

Tottenham - Wembley deal extended

UK Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur have agreed to extend their deal with the English FA to play home games at Wembley Stadium until December 15th, according to reports in the UK media.

UK Minister calls Russia's GRU a failure
