India's Supreme Court moves to decriminalize homosexuality

In a landmark judgement by India's top court, homosexuality has been decriminalised in India.

The Supreme Court ruled that the LGBT community in India should have the same rights as everyone else in the country.

Chef Keshar Sharma left India 21 years ago because his family said they would kill him due to his homosexuality. He was granted refugee status in France a few years ago.   He says he was sexually assaulted many times for being gay.

Keshar Sharma says while gay sex may no longer be illegal, Indian people's mentality to same sex relationships will not.
