President Trump faces strong backlash after Putin meeting

U.S. President Donald Trump is facing strong criticism following his

BREXIT CAMPAIGN GROUP FINED OVER RULE BREACHES

Official Brexit campaign group Vote Leave has been fined and referred to the police after being found to have broken electoral laws.

The Electoral Commission says Vote Leave filed incomplete and inaccurate financial reports, and worked together with another Brexit campaign group so that spending limits were breached.

Vote Leave denies the claims.

It comes as UK Prime Minister Theresa May faces another crucial vote in the House of Commons later, on the government's Brexit Trade Bill.

Indian Supreme Court pulls up government for mob lynchings

The Indian Supreme Court has said that no citizen can become a law unto himself and has directed the federal and state governments to lay down remedial measures to prevent mob lynchings.

In the last three months, nearly thirty people have died in WhatsApp fuelled mob lynchings in India. In all of these cases, the victims were mistaken to be child kidnappers following a fake, viral WhatsApp forward.

Twenty-nine year-old Maria Butina, who was arrested in Washington on Sunday, has been accused of working with Americans as part of a Russian effort to influence the 2016 presidential election.

World Economic Outlook points to trade war fears

The International Monetary Fund warns that global trade disputes could
have an impact on economic growth.

This is according to an updated World Economic Outlook report released
by the IMF.

This comes in the wake of U.S. President Donald Trump calling the
European Union a foe because of what he deems to be an unfair trade
relationship.

Chicago police release footage of fatal shooting


Chicago officials have released body cam footage of the fatal police shooting on Saturday of an African-American man.

Thirty-seven year-old Harith Augustus was a father and barber who had no recent criminal record.  

His killing sparked violent protests over the weekend.

China has filed a new case at the World Trade Organization against new plans by the Trump administration to impose a new tariff on $200 billion worth of imports.

Google engineer killed in latest mob lynching in India
