US-Israeli teen convicted of bomb threats during US presidential campaign

An Israeli court has convicted an Israeli-American teenager of making some 2-thousand bomb threats in the U.S. and other countries during the last US presidential campaign.

Many of the hoax threats targeted Jewish institutions, creating fear that then-candidate Donald Trump's rhetoric was leading to a rise in antisemitism.

Excitement builds in UK ahead of England-Belgium World Cup game

World Cup excitement is mounting in the UK as the England team prepare to face Belgium in the group stage final in Kaliningrad.

Migrant ship docks in Malta after being turned away from Italy and Spain

230 migrants are now on land after a rescue ship docked in Malta on Wednesday after being refused docking rights in Italy and Spain.

US postpones talks with Indian government at the last minute

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has informed the Indian Foreign Minister that a high level dialogue between the two countries has been postponed due to 'unavoidable circumstances'.

Trump backs down from aggressively restricting Chinese investment in US tech companies

AU says DRC Ebola outbreak "under control"


The African Union says the Ebola outbreak in the Democratic republic of Congo is under control. The Africa Centre for Disease Control reports that its medical experts on the ground are still working with the DRC government to ensure that the cases remain minimal.

So far 28 people have died in the  outbreak that was declared in May this year.

Macedonia and Albania will have to wait to begin EU membership talks
