US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has informed the Indian Foreign Minister that a high level dialogue between the two countries has been postponed due to 'unavoidable circumstances'.
The announcement comes less than a fortnight before the dialogue was slated to take place. It also comes in the backdrop of the Trump administration expressing its displeasure over India's continued bilateral ties with Russia and Iran.
