The President of the European Council says British Prime Minister Theresa May needs to come up with a better idea of handling the border between Ireland and Northern Ireland post Brexit, if she does not like the EU's plans.
The comments came as the two leaders met in London to discuss the EU's draft withdrawal treaty which was published Wednesday and which suggests Northern Ireland stay in the EU's customs area to prevent a hard border with Ireland. From London, Catherine Drew reports.

Germany's government confirmed it had discovered a major security breach of its federal computer networks in December.
Officials said they'd been able to secure the system since then, but it's unclear how much data may have been compromised.

The United Nations says "nothing has changed" in Syria's Eastern Ghouta suburb since the Security Council called for an immediate ceasefire five days ago.
The UN has been unable to deliver any aid to the 400,000 civilians trapped in the rebel-held area.
