Caste clashes cause disruption in Mumbai

Caste clashes have caused disruptions in Mumbai, following a call for a strike.

This follows violence in the nearby of city of Pune on Monday in which a man was killed.

Trump taunts North Korea's Kim Jong Un over size of US nuclear button

President Trump has taunted North Korean strongman Kim Jong Un, claiming on Twitter that he has a much bigger and more powerful nuclear button than the leader in Pyongyang.

Pres. Trump threatens North Korea on social media

U.S. President Donald Trump has threatened North Korea, posting on Twitter that he too has a nuclear button.

Earlier, in a national address, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un said he now has a nuclear button on his desk and his regime will focus on expanding their arsenal in the coming year.

Nikki Haley takes aim at Iran and North Korea [CLIPS]

US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley on Tuesday took aim at Iran and North Korea, in her first address to the UN press corp on US priorities in the new year.

On Iran, Haley spoke up in support of protestors, saying nowhere is the urgency for peace, security and freedom being more tested than in Iran.

Iran's Supreme Leader blames country's "enemies" for street protests

Iran's Supreme Leader, the Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, is blaming the country's "enemies" for growing street protests and clashes with police that have claimed more than 20 lives.


The protests - the largest in Iran since 2009 - are calling for an end to the country's hardline clerical rule.

North Korea policy unchanged - White House

The White House says its policy towards North Korea is unchanged, after U.S. President Donald Trump claimed that sanctions are beginning to have a big impact on the country.

South Korea has said it is open to discussion North Korea's participation in the upcoming Olympic Games, but President Trump refuses to endorse or reject the idea.

Pres. Trump suggests prosecution of Comey, Clinton Aide

U.S. President Donald Trump has suggested on social media that the U.S. Justice Department "must finally act" and possibly prosecute James Comey, while further calling for jail time for Hillary Clinton's top aide, Huma Abedin.

Over the Christmas holidays, the U.S. State Department finally released a set of emails that Huma Abedin had downloaded to her husband's computer, against security protocols.

President Trump has repeatedly urged further investigation, even criminal prosecution, of Hillary Clinton for using a private email server while Secretary of State, even though the U.S. Justice Department only found her actions 'extremely careless.

The tweet may be a distraction, but White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders refused to rule out jail time.

Human rights for Iranian people - White House

The Trump Administration is staying one step away from calling for regime change in Iran, despite U.S. President Donald Trump tweeting in all capital letters on New Year's day, "time for change."

With more people taking to the streets in more cities, at least 22 Iranians have died in the widening protests, which the government blames on "enemies of Iran."

South Korea poised to hold talks with North Korea in hopes of participating in Olympics

North and South Korea look poised to hold high-level talks for the
first time since 2015, after Kim Jung Un offered to start a dialogue,
