US team may stay home from Winter Olympics - White House

U.S. President Donald Trump may yet decide the American Olympic team should not travel to Pyeongchang, South Korea for the Winter Olympics.

U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley opened the can of worms when she told the Fox News Channel it was still an open question about whether the U.S. athletes were going, and they were discussing how best to protect Americans in the region.

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders left open the question of whether the U.S. will participate in the February games.
