UN chief criticizes Trump Jerusalem decision

The United Nations Secretary-General has criticized US President
Donald Trump's recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital.

Antonio Guterres reaffirmed the UN's position on the city needing to
be a capital for both Israelis and Palestinians.

The UN has long maintained that the future of Jerusalem can only be
decided by the two sides themselves, and is crucial to the two-state
solution.

Antonio Guterres spoke to reporters at the UN headquarters in New York.
