UN has potential - Pres. Trump

U.S. President Donald Trump says he believes the United Nations has potential, after a blistering speech in which he observed, some parts of the world are going to hell.

In his debut speech, the American president threatened to obliterate North Korea, nearly walked away from the Iran nuclear deal, and focussed on sovereigty.

After his bleak picture, during the lunch for global leaders, President Trump was a bit more optimistic.

Trump Hints at Withdrawal from Iran Nuclear Deal

Donald Trump has indicated that he may be preparing to withdraw from the multi-nation Iran nuclear deal.

His speech at the UN General Assembly included heavy criticism of what he called a "depleted rogue state".

Trump threatens North Korea destruction

US President Donald Trump has said the US is ready to "totally
destroy" North Korea if provoked.

Giving his first speech to the UN General Assembly President Trump
labelled the country a "rogue regime" and called on countries to
jointly isolate Pyongyang.

At UN Trump warns of threat of "rogue nations"

In his first speech to the United Nations General Assembly US President Donald Trump has warned about the threat of "rogue nations" like North Korea and Iran.

President Trump threatened to "total destroy" North Korea, saying leader Kim Jong-un was on a "suicide mission".

He said the world must work together to isolate these countries, to make nations "prosperous, safe and secure".

The President also promoted his America First agenda, by saying other countries must help shoulder the financial burden of funding the UN.

President Trump warned the UN of the threats the world faces.

Russia, China begin naval drills near North Korea

Russia and China began a series of joint naval exercises in the Sea of Japan, close to the Korean peninsula. Swiss police investigating tens of thousands of euros flushed down toilets

The discovery of tens of thousands of euros worth of 5 hundred euro notes which had been flushed down toilets in Geneva has prompted in investigation by Swiss prosecutors.

The European Central Bank is withdrawing the high value, purple-colored notes in 2018 over fears they make life easier for criminals.
