KEY BREXIT LEGISLATION PUBLISHED IN UK

The UK is publishing landmark Brexit legislation which will mean EU law is converted into British law.

The Repeal Bill will ensure rules and laws stay in place after Brexit takes place, then allowing the UK's parliaments to change them over time.

Brexit Secretary David Davis says all political parties will have to work together to make the bill a success.

But opposition parties are voicing concerns about the legislation which will need to be passed by the time the UK leaves the EU.

James McGrory from Open Britain - which campaigns against a so-called 'hard Brexit' - says it's controversial.
