U.S. says 2.7 million Takata air bag inflators will be recalled

INTRO:

The US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says Takata will
be recalling an additional 2.7 million faulty air bags.

About 125 million Takata airbags are being recalled in total; This
latest increase comes after new testing showed additional faulty
models in Ford, Nissan, and Mazda vehicles.
