Congressional investigations expand, Trump furious

U.S. President Donald Trump is expressing his fury on social media as the Congressional investigations expand.

On both sides of the U.S. Congress, different panels are adding to their questions about the Trump administration.

DOCTORS: Freed American Otto Warmbier suffered extreme brain injury, state of 'unresponsive wakefulness'


The American student recently released from North Korea has suffered extensive brain injury - according to the Ohio-based medical team treating him.

Otto Warmbier returned to the United States this week after over a year in prison - according to North Korea the 22-year old fell into a coma in March 2016.

After his arrival in his home state he was taken to the Cincinnati Medical Center.

Dr. Daniel Kanter says an MRI of Mr Warmbier showed extensive damage to the brain and that his current state was one of 'unresponsive wakefulness'.

NSA links WannaCry computer worm to North Korea

The National Security Agency believes that hackers associated with the North Korean government are behind the computer worm used in a worldwide cyberattack in May, according to a Washington Post report.


The assessment is based on an internal NSA analysis that points with "moderate confidence" to North Korea's spy agency.

US President Donald Trump: Republican baseball team shooting will unify the country

The British Prime Minister Theresa May has ordered a full public inquiry into a huge fire that ripped through a residential tower block in London.

Warmbier family says son Otto brutalized by North Korea

Fred Warmbier, the father of Otto Warmbier, says his son was brutalized by the North  Korean regime.

 University of Cincinnati Medical Center says the young American suffered a severe neurological injury, with a further update expected.

Pyongyang has issued a statement claiming they released the young man on humanitarian grounds, even though previously they'd sentenced him to 15 years hard labor.

Fred Warmbier is grateful is son is home in Ohio.

Chinese authorities approve nine new trademarks for Trump Organization


Chinese authorities have provisionally approved nine new trademarks for the Trump Organization.

The applications were previously rejected by officials in Beijing before Donald Trump became US President.

Trump blasts obstruction of justice report

U.S. President Donald Trump has taken to Twitter to blast a report
that claims he's under investigation for possible obstruction of
justice.

Citing unnamed officials the Washington Post reported Wednesday that
this probe began after Trump fired former FBI Director James Comey.

17 fatalities in London tower block fire - more expected

Fire and police officials involved in the London tower block fire have said the death toll has now increased to 17, but there are likely to be many more fatalities.


Meanwhile 17 people are in hospital in a critical condition, but police refuse to speculate on how many people are unaccounted for.


Firefighters have worked through the night to dampen the building, while some of its residents spent the night in make-shift accommodation.


In the latest update London Fire Commissioner Dany Cotton has said her team are working to sure up the building for investigation work to begin, but it is likely to be a long process.

Roaming charges scrapped in the EU

Eurozone ministers try to find deal on Greek debt

Finance ministers from eurozone countries are meetings in Brussels to decide whether Greece receives the next slice of bailout money in desperate needs.

London Fire Update: 12 dead, firefighters work through the night

In the UK, the search continues for loved ones who haven't been seen since a fire took hold of a 24 story residential tower block.


12 people have been confirmed dead, but it's believed the death toll is expected to rise.


The residents of Grenfell Tower have been left homless, with many having to spend the night in make-shift accommodation in a sports centre.


Firefighters have been working through the night to dampen the building, with the blaze described s unprecidented by fire chiefs.
