Secret Service doesn't have White House tapes - WSJ

The U.S. Secret Service does not have tapes or transcripts of audio recordings made in the White House, the agency confirmed to the Wall Street Journal.

The question of tapes and recordings were first launched by a post on social media by U.S. President Donald Trump, questioning the veracity of now-fired FBI Director James Comey.

US condemns Russian actions following protests

The Trump administration is condemning the detention of hundreds of protestors, and lead dissident Alex Navalny following demonstrations in Moscow.

According to Russia's interior minister, some 3500 participated in the protests, with 500 detained, with NGO's reporting larger participation, and Russian police arresting people at random.

White House spokesman Sean Spicer says the actions by the government in Moscow are wrong.

White House mum on tapes, US AG testimony

The White House is currently refusing to answer questions about whether there is a recording system, and what U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions might say when he appears before Senate Intelligence Committee.

Late last week, U.S. President Donald Trump said he'd have an answer on whether there were tape recordings of his meetings with now-fired FBI director James Comey 'shortly.'

White House spokesman Sean Spicer refused to answer questions on anything tied to James Comey, tapes, or Congressional testimony.

White House rejects lawsuit as Democratic obstruction

The White House thinks the emoluments clause case brought by the state of Maryland and the District of Columbia will be dismissed because it's partisan obstructionism.

The state and the city brought the lawsuit arguing President Trump continues to violate the U.S. Constitution by failing to fully separate himself from his business interests, with his son admitting that the president continues to be updated about their progress.

White House spokesman Sean Spicer said the lawsuit is another example of the Democrats trying to obstruct the president's agenda, just like a previous lawsuit.

London trip not scheduled - White House

The Trump administration now says the state visit to the United Kingdom by U.S. President Donald Trump has not been scheduled.
