UK CONSERVATIVES HOLD GOVT TALKS WITH DUP

UK Prime Minister Theresa May is meeting with Northern Ireland's DUP party to try and finalise a deal which will allow her Conservative Party to govern.

The leader of the Democratic Unionist Party Arlene Foster is in London with the Prime Minister needing her backing for a minority government.

Theresa May remains under pressure after losing her party's House of Commons majority in last week's general election, just days before Brexit talks are due to start.

UK correspondent Ashleigh Carroll says Arlene Foster is sounding optimistic about an arrangement with the Conservatives.
