Former Acting AG Sally Yates to testify on Mike Flynn

The former Acting Attorney General Sally Yates is expected to say she warned the White House about then-National Security Advisor Mike Flynn three weeks before he was fired when she testifies before a Senate panel on Monday.

Mr Flynn was fired by Donald Trump in February for lying about conversations with the Russian ambassador.

Republican healthcare bill faces tough battle in US Senate


After narrowly squeezing through legislation to repeal and replace Obamacare in the US House of Representatives...

The U-S Senate will now take up the Affordable Health Care Act, the bill intended to take Obamacare's place.

Phone landlines on the decline

Less than 50 per cent of homes in America now have a phone landline -
but elsewhere in the world usage is still much higher.

That's according to figures out from the US government.

Johnson & Johnson ordered to pay $110M in cancer lawsuit

A jury in the US city of St Louis [PRON: Sunt Lewiss] has ordered Johnson and Johnson to pay over 110 million dollars to a woman who blamed the company's talcum powder products for her ovarian cancer.

The company that provided the talc to Johnson and Johnson was also ordered to pay around 100 thousand dollars.

Uber Faces Criminal Investigation Over Use of Evasion Technology

The US Justice Department has launched a criminal investigation  over Uber's attempts to evade local regulators.

The software they used called "Greyball" helped Uber drivers to evade officials in cities where they were not approved to operate.

US soldier killed in Somalia

A US soldier has been killed in Somalia in an operation against the militant group al-Shabab.

The US Africa Command says two other service members were also injured in the incident on Thursday, 40 miles (64km) from the capital Mogadishu.

North Korea accuses US, South Korea of assassination plot

North Korea is accusing America's CIA and South Korea's intelligence agency of fomenting a plot to assassinate Kim Jong Un and the country's supreme leadership.

Pres. Trump celebrates health care win

U.S. President Donald Trump believes he's won the political battle to repeal and replace what's known as "Obamacare" - the Affordable Care Act, the health insurance legislation originally signed into law by Barack Obama.

The leader of the Senate Democrats has already forecast that the new bill is going no where fast in the U.S. Senate where lawmakers on both sides of the aisle have major problems with key elements of the legislation as passed by the U.S. House of Representatives.
