Pres. Trump vows to fight sanctuary ruling

U.S. President Donald Trump is vowing to take a ruling blocking his executive orders yanking federal funding from self-designated sanctuary cities all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court.

A U.S. federal judge in California blocked the executive order saying the Trump administration has made it clear in public comments that the underlying reasons are plainly unconstitutional.

Sanctuary cities shelter illegal immigrants from deportation, pending due process.

President Trump wants to punish these cities by pulling federal funding, and promised a reporter he'd keep fighting in court.
