Indigenous protest turns violent in Brazil

A protest in Brasilia turned violent Tuesday, when Brazilian military police fired tear gas and rubber bullets at thousands of indigenous men and women who were demonstrating outside of Congress.

Indigenous groups in Brazil claim the government of President Michel Temer is trying to roll back protections in the Amazon which would allow companies and private interests to take over their lands.
