North Korea fires projectiles into the East Sea from near missile base

North Korea has fired four projectiles into the sea off the country's east coast- that's according to the South Korean military.

Japan says three of those projectiles landed in its zone.

The move follows the start of annual U.S.- South Korean drills, and constitutes a possible retaliation.

Meanwhile, the Trump administration is considering the possibility of deploying tactical nuclear weapons to South Korea, to counter the threat posed by North Korea.

That's according to a report in the New York Times, which cites Trump administration officials as signaling the need for a "dramatic warning" to Pyongyang.
