Ahmad Khan Rahami Identifed as NY Bombing Suspect

Officials in New York have identified a suspect wanted for questioning over Saturday's blast in the Chelsea area of Manhattan, in which 29 people were injured.

It comes as a backpack filled with explosives was found in New Jersey in the early hours of Monday.

The latest quarterly report from the Bank for International Settlements says China's credit-to-GDP gap is three times over the danger level.

Pro-Putin’s party wins majority at Parliament elex

With a 47% voter turnout at the recent Parliament elections in Russia the ruling pro-Kremlin party United Russia won over 54% of the vote. The nationalist Liberal Democrats party and the Communist party were far behind with about 13% each. The Just Russia party got just over 6%. Police investigate motive for NYC bombs

Officials in New York are looking for evidence as to the motive behind
a bomb attack in the city's fashionable Chelsea neighbourhood on
Saturday night.

The blast injured 29 people, though all have now been released from hospital.

LONDON POLICE OFFICERS PROBED OVER VEHICLE ATTACK

Two London police officers have been placed on restricted duties after footage circulated on social media appearing to show one of them attacking a car with a knife.

The Metropolitan Police force has now received a formal complaint about the incident in Camden in north London.

ISIS linked to Minnesota mall stabbings

An ISIS linked news agency claims the man who stabbed eight people at
a mall in the US state of Minnesota was "a solder of the Islamic
State".

None of the victims injuries are life-threatening.

New York Governor: Bomb was "act of terrorism"

The explosion in New York City on Saturday is being treated as a terrorist act.

However, the state's governor says there are currently no links to
international terrorism groups.

29 people were injured in the blast in Manhattan's area of Chelsea,
with a second unexploded device found nearby.

29 Injured In 'Intentional' Blast in New York City

New York Mayor Bill de Blasio has described Saturday night's explosion in the Chelsea neighbourhood of New York City as 'intentional'.

The blast - which was heard blocks away, injured at least 29 people, one of them seriously, and 24 have been taken to local hospitals.

But as Lorna Shaddick reports from New York, authorities are being cautious about linking the incident to terrorism despite a second device reportedly found in the same area.
