The children of Donald Trump took to the stage in Cleveland just a short while after their father was confirmed as the Republican party nominee to run for the White House.

Donald Trump has caused multiple uproars while campaigning with his politically incorrent and some times fact-free statements.

His son, Donald Trump, junior, said his father will continue to say what needs to be said.

His children made the announcement from the floor that the New York State delegation ensured their father won the nomination.

Donald Trump officially named Republican Presidential candidate

The official annoucement was delayed after the Alaska delegation demanded a recount.

Fox CEO Roger Ailes Reportedly Negotiating Buyout Following Sexual Harassment Allegations

The CEO and Chairman of Fox News Roger Ailes is reportedly negotiating a buyout worth tens of millions of dollars that would lead to his departure.

The development follows a sexual harassment suit against Ailes filed by former Fox anchor Gretchen Carlson.

Trump officially secures Republican nomination

Donald Trump has been officially selected to be the Republican Party's Presidential candidate in this November's election.


In a state-by-state vote at the Convention he won more than the 1,237 delegates he needed to secure the nomination.


A declaration by the state of New York put Mr. Trump over-the-top and our correspondent Simon Marks was in the hall when it happened.

Donald Trump formally nominated Republican presidential candidate

Donald J. Trump, the billionaire real estate developer, has been formally nominated and has enough delegates to be the Republican Party's presidential nominee.

In a roll call of states on the floor of the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, representatives tallied up the votes.

Donald Trump Jr, the candidate's eldest son, got to announce the delegate count which put him over the top and formally clinched the nomination.

Three U.S. States Sue Automaker Volkswagen

Three US states are suing Volkswagen (VW), alleging that the automaker
knew their cars had been engineered to cheat US pollution tests. New
York, Maryland and Massachusetts filed lawsuits Tuesday accusing
former VW chief executive Martin Winterkorn and other top executives
of "systematic cheating and deception."

Trump campaign will take no action against staff over Melania plagiarism claims

Orlando gunman taunted by co-workers
