Russia pledges "military technical" response to NATO’s expansion

NATO's buildup in eastern Europe will be inevitably followed by a "military technical" response, Russian NATO envoy said ahead of the organisation's two-day summit in Poland. NATO leaders meet in Warsaw to cement a new deterrent against "aggressive" Russia. Daria Bondarchuk reports from Moscow.

US State Dept. reopens investigation into Clinton email

The U.S. State Department is re-opening its investigation into how Hillary Clinton and her aides used email while she was U.S. Secretary of State.

That probe was put on hold while the FBI conducted an investigation into possible criminal actions.

Bill Cosby Loses Latest Bid to Have Charges Dismissed

Actor and Comedian Bill Cosby has lost another bid to get criminal sexual-assault charges against him dismissed. 
A judge in Pennsylvania has ruled there is enough evidence to try Cosby even though he was unable to cross-examine his accuser at a preliminary hearing.

FBI Dir. defends Hillary Clinton email investigation



FBI Director James Comey says there is no evidence that Hillary Clinton lied to FBI agents investigating her email scandal.

Britain's new PM will be a woman after Conservative leadership vote

Britain's next Prime Minister will be a woman after MPs voting in the Conservative Party leadership race eliminated the final man from the ballot. 

Home Secretary Theresa May and Energy Minister Andrea Leadsom will be the choice for 150 000 Conservative members. 

The new party leader and Prime Minister is due to be revealed by September 9th.

Theresa May was on the REMAIN side in Britain's EU referendum, while Andrea Leadsom campaigned for Brexit.

John Kerry reassures Ukraine of US support, on Kiev visit

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry has arrived in Kiev, where he's due to meet with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko to discuss the conflict in the east of the country.

This comes a day ahead of a NATO summit in Warsaw where the military alliance is due to make decisions on how to best defend Eastern Europe from possible Russian aggression.
