Chief executive Akio Toyoda says his firm is actually planning on 'deepening' its ties with Britain, where it employs 3400 staff.
It comes as British Prime Minister David Cameron attempts to win EU reforms so he can then campaign for the UK to remain a member of the bloc.
Danny Cox of stockbroker Hargreaves Lansdown says it's a significant pledge from Mr Toyoda.
