JUNIOR DOCTORS STRIKE IN ENGLAND

In the UK, thousands of junior doctors have gone on strike in England, for the first time in 40 years.

Hospitals face major disruption, with thousands of operations, treatments and appointments having to be postponed.

It's over a row about a proposed new contract.

National Health Service bosses say plans are in place to protect patients.
