Manhunt in California after mass shooting

Police in California are searching for at least one gunman after a mass shooting in the city of San Bernardino.


The incident took place at a social services center, about 60 miles east of Los Angeles.


There are reports that at least 3 people are dead and twenty injured.

Mutiple deaths feared in California mass shooting

As many as 20 people are feared to have been wounded in another mass shooting in America.

The incident took place in San Bernardino, about 60 miles east from Los Angeles.

Iran had plans to develop nuclear weapons, IAEA finds

Iran had embarked on a project to develop nuclear weapons but did not follow through beyond early plans and experiments, according to latest findings by the UN's nuclear watchdog.


The assessment by the International Atomic Energy Agency is part of an investigation that could bring Iran closer to sanctions relief under a major deal with world powers.

Europol conducts smuggling raids across Europe

Europol conducted simultaneous raids across Europe Wednesday, arresting over twenty people who allegedly are part of an organized crime ring profiting off of human smuggling.

Police say the organization has been bringing around 100 people into Europe every day since it began operating in 2013.

US Governor Christie Firm on Barring Syrian Refugees from Entering New Jersey

The governor of the US state of New Jersey, Chris Christie, is staying
firm on his stance to keep Syrian refugees out of the state. 30 other
US governors have made the same pledge following the Paris attacks.
Governor Christie, who is a Republican presidential candidate, says he
places homeland security as a top priority in his campaign.

American woman completes 20-year sentence for aiding Peruvian rebels

An American woman jailed in Peru for helping rebel forces 20 years ago, has been released and is heading home to New York.
Lori Berenson was convicted of aiding the MRTA revolutionary movement, which was involved in a long campaign of kidnappings and killings.

Black Friday breaks gun background check record

According to the FBI a record amount of Americans had their
backgrounds checked for gun purchases on Black Friday.

Some 185,345 requests were processed and came on a day when a gunman
killed three people at Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado.

Yahoo ‘May Spin Off Stake in Alibaba’, Weighs Sale of Core Internet Business
