Third airplane with bodies of Russian passenger jet crash victims arrives home

A third airplane carrying the bodies and evidence collected at the site of the Russian passenger jet crash in Egypt has arrived in Saint Petersburg. Several European countries have halted flights to and from the Egyptian resort city of Sharm-el-Sheikh on safety concerns, while Russia and Egypt urge caution on bomb theory. UK 'RESCUE FLIGHTS' BEGIN FROM SHARM EL SHEIKH

British airlines are beginning to fly home tourists stranded in Sharm el-Sheikh over security fears.

It comes amid reports UK investigators now think a bomb was placed in the hold of a Russian plane which crashed in Egypt after leaving Sharm el-Sheikh for St Petersburg on Saturday, killing all 224 people on board.

Obama gives South Africa 60 day notice for suspension of AGOA trade benefits

US President Barack Obama has issued a 60-day notice to Congress and the South African government of his intent to suspend certain trade benefits for South Africa under the African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA).

It comes after South Africa failed to eliminate long-standing barriers to U.S. poultry, pork, and beef imports - specifically, failing to meet a key deadline on October 15th to resume imports of U.S. poultry.

Obama: Bomb Theory over Downed Russian Yet a "Possibility"

US President Barack Obama says there's a possibility that a terrorist bomb was responsible for downing a Russian airplane.

Solar winds strip Mars of atmosphere needed for life

White House: reviewing safety for flights bound for the US

The White House is reviewing whether additional steps are needed to protect US commercial flights in response to the Russian plane crash.

On Saturday a flight from the Egyptian resort of Sharm el Sheikh bound for St Petersburg crashed killing all 244 people on board.

The UK government believes it was caused by a bomb and has suspended all flights from the airport.

The White House says that "some information has been learned" that supports Britain's suspicions but spokesman Josh Earnest refused to be drawn on details.

Rare Picasso Could Fetch 60 Million At NYC Auction

A double-sided painting by Spanish artist Pablo Picasso titled 'The
Nightclub Singer' is up for auction in New York City Thursday, and
it's expected to fetch at least $60 million dollars. American
businessman William Koch [pronounced Coke] purchased the piece for
around 1.7 million in 1984, but did not realize until years later that
a second painting was hiding on the reverse side of the canvas.

Colombia rules in favor of adoption for gay couples

The British Foreign Office says flights may resume as early as Friday, after imposing a temporary ban on airlines traveling between Sharm-El Sheikh and the UK.

Britain's Foreign Secretary Phillip Hammond said none of the 19 planned flights to the UK would depart on Thursday. However, Egyptian officials have claimed that the country's airports are safe.

Around 20,000 Britons are estimated to be in the popular Egyptian resort.

Last Saturday's flight from the resort to St. Petersburg crashed in the Sainai peninsula killing all 224 people on board. On Wednesday Downing Street said there was concern that a bomb could have caused the crash.

Moderate Economic Growth Across Most of EU, But Spain and Greece Still Struggle

The European Union has released is autumn 2015 economic forecasts and the predictions show continued overall growth despite tricky economic times.

On a national level, Greece and Spain are seeing particularly gloomy predictions.

Kremlin Rejects British Suggestion That Sinai Jet Was Bombed
